If you already have a service center of body shop that you know and love, we will be happy to drive your vehicle there and coordinate the necessary repairs and body work. If you are new to the city or just not totally happy with the work you’ve had done in the past, we can offer you numerous choices from our list of preferred vendors. We only recommend shops that we have seen amazing results from and that we would take our own cars to.

Your Checklist

In order to complete auto body services in Washington, D.C., Maryland, or Virginia, we will need:

• Your vehicle registration card
• A current vehicle insurance card
• The name, address, and phone number of the car dealership, body shop, or garage where you would like the car dropped off
• The name of the service writer, contact person, or the team that will be taking care of your car

Everything that you need done to your vehicle needs to be told directly to the service writer, not to our representative.

Don’t Forget!

United States Vehicle Registration Service cannot write a check on your behalf to the repair shop or dealership where you choose to have work done, so you must coordinate and complete payment with them before vehicle pick-up. You will be responsible for negotiating the total and paying it in full.

If the service manager gives you a phone call during the day to inform you that your car is ready for pick-up, please call the United States Vehicle Registration Service team right away. Occasionally, the service manager will forget to call our representative and your car will stay at their facility for longer than absolutely necessary.

If you have flexibility with when you are dropping your car off, we always suggest Monday. Mondays are a great day to drop a car off because they allow the dealership or auto body shop ample time to order, receive, and install parts before the weekend.
